Toronto Pearson Airport Transfer Service

Toronto public transit is very efficient during the day. If you arrive at Pearson Airport before about 10pm, the 192 Airport Rocket provides express service with luggage racks to Kipling Station, where you can take the subway into downtown Toronto or elsewhere. This trip takes about 60-90 minutes and costs about $3 (as of early 2015).

However, if you're arriving with luggage and want to get to your homestay quickly, we suggest a pre-booked service. You can save $5-$15 on your trip by making a reservation instead of getting into a waiting taxi or limo at the curb.

Taxi Auto Fare and World Taximeter are good for a rough idea of how much your taxi fare will cost from Toronto Pearson Airport, and Aeroport Taxi & Limousine Service offers a discounted flat rate service. Ask your homestay host for the first 3 characters of their postal code and you can get an online quote from the limousine service's web site.

Book online or call 1-800-465-3434 from a public phone when you arrive at the airport. The call is free from the airport. If you have immigration documents to process when you arrive at the airport, expect to take longer to get through customs. We've observed the immigration process taking between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on how many planes landed at the same time.

If you call the limousine service from the airport, have the address of your homestay ready and ask for an airport pickup. If you don't feel confident speaking over the phone in English, have the address printed on a piece of paper that you can hand to the driver.
