Students in public universities and colleges in the Vancouver area may be eligible for a discounted transit pass, known as U-Pass BC.

Metro Vancouver is divided into 3 zone boundaries, and the U-Pass enables eligible students to travel all 3 zones for under $40 per month – a greatly discounted monthly price from the regular price of more than $100 per month.

To be eligible, you must be a full-time student at a public university or college that participates in the program. You can find out if your school is included on the U-Pass home page.

ESL schools and other private schools are not included in this discounted program.
