Homestay in New Westminster, Canada

My homestay is on a separate level of my home with views of the front and back gardens. I live upstairs. It's a short two block walk to bus routes connecting to the nearest Skytrain station. The kitchen/laundry room faces the private, fenced back garden. There is a separate room with an electric clothes dryer as well as a table and two chairs.

The two private bedrooms are well lit and both have large windows and privacy venetian blinds. The shared bathroom has a six ft. soaker tub with cedar skirting and a pedestal sink. The two bedrooms are fully furnished with area rugs, sheets, pillowcases, duvet and a desk and chair. One bedroom has a gas fireplace with a loveseat and the other bedroom has a large closet. The kitchen has all dishes, bowls and utensils included, with a wide electric grill, large microwave and large counter top oven. There are two small fridges, each with a freezer. With a heat pump, my home remains warm in winter and cool in summer.

Are you a traveling nurse? My home is two blocks away from the bus that is a 20 minute ride to Royal Columbian Hospital here in New Westminster.

My interests include choir singing, volunteer committees, gardening and walking in local parks, enjoying nature. I also enjoy a good murder mystery, either a book or a TV show.

House Rules and amenities:
The washing machine and laundry soap are included and guests are responsible for their own laundry. If you need to borrow an iron and ironing board, please ask.
Please respect quiet time from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. If you're out and arriving back at my homestay after 9:00 pm, please enter quietly. Toilet paper is included, along with dish soap in the kitchen. Please eat your meals in the dining room provided. Internet and wi fi are included. Utilities - electricity, heat and hot water are included, and I ask that you limit your showers to 10 minutes per day. If you pay a modest deposit and cancel in less than four weeks, unfortunately it will not be returned.
