Hi, JoAnn and I have been hosting homestay students from all over the world since 2006. Our son Simon who is a Kinesiology graduate lives with us. We also have a friendly cat. JoAnn and I are retired Human Resources professionals who works part time. I cook home made meals mostly Italian food but I also cook various international foods. We my contact page, including pork. We also consume alcoholic beverages, which we offer to homestay guests. We include this so homestay guests can decide if we are a good fit for you.

We are conveniently located in mid-town Toronto close to the St. Clair West subway station. We are about 45 minute commute to Union Station.

We have had many students from South Korean, Japan, Brazil, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany
We have also had students from Türkiye, Russia, Spain, Columbia, Mexico

Our meals are eaten together at a table where we can have conversations to assist with your language skills, We all eat the same dinners. Since we work, we may not be able to prepare your breakfast, but we will provide your breakfast for you to prepare. Lunches are optional, for an added fee. If you choose a lunch option, it will consist of items from the previous dinner or a sandwich with fruit and a drink.

Laundry services once per week are included in the fee. Also note that we have an extra bathroom for your private use.
Your bed sheets will be changed every 2 weeks.

We enjoy traveling, sports and watching movies.

Our students have enjoyed their stays with us; many of which still keep in contact with us. The only house rules we have is no noise after 10 pm and to text me if you will not be having dinner with us. Also, no one other than yourself is allowed on the property unless previous arrangements are made with us. We do not have a curfew and are free to come and go as you please.
