- I am looking for a young man who is older than 19.

- I am a mature, female, Caucasian, Canadian, English teacher & native speaker.

- I have an M.Ed. & 10 years of teaching experience in ESL, French, figure skating & art. I am also a visual artist.

- I would like to help you to improve your English so that your chances of success in current studies & future career are optimized.

- I will happily correct your English during home conversations.

- The refundable deposit is half of one month's rent.

- I will also give you training in western manners & customs. This is very important for business & travel.

- I have had many, international students in my home for 15 years & they have all improved their English. Some have become English teachers in their countries.

- Your fee includes WiFi, utilities, cable TV, linens, all home expenses & all your food (at home & take-out).

- We will have 2 students in my apartment, plus me. We will be 3 roommates in all. There are no children or pets in the home.

- Presently there is a friendly, athletic, law graduate here from South America. He is on a working holiday visa.

- We have a community atmosphere & enjoy each others' company.

- You would need to develop a social life with people your age.

- We tend to be busy & we are quite independent.

- We take turns cooking. I do most of the shopping. We participate in running the household.

- I am offering a small, 9 sq. m., semi-private space, divided off from the living room with solid partitions & a long curtain. Sorry it's not a completely private room.

- My arrangement is suitable for someone who is more interested in learning opportunities than in having a luxurious room in a house.

- The location is Mount Pleasant North, a trendy & very desirable area in Vancouver. It's 30 minutes via frequent transit to downtown.

- The apartment building is simple, humble, about 65 years old, very close to frequent transit, many services, parks & sports' facilities.

- I am looking for someone who will stay for 2 months.

- I can pick you up at the airport if our schedules match.

- If the price is too high, you can offer a service to lower it.
