We have a large bedroom for rent in a large, modern home on a quiet street. The room has a double bed, large desk and in-room closet with a full sized dresser. There is a powder room on that floor and shared bathrooms above. Price includes high-speed Internet and Wifi, Netflix, use of laundry and kitchen facilities, space in the garage for a bike. Home is centrally air conditioned and heated, recently renovated, and very spacious. Safe neighbourhood close to central bus lines, subway stations, groceries and other amenities. Friendly family environment, all adults in the house (2M, 2F), and one kitten.
We take lots of meals together, we're up chatting in the basement until late, and also movie time, video games, and occasional outings. Someone is home at all times, shopping, cooking and other chores are shared as a group. Come and go as you please, your space will be completely respected as well as your religious, cultural, or lifestyle beliefs. We are not strictly kosher but do not allow pork products and seafood into the home, and it is a smoke/vape/drug free environment.
Prefer long-term renters, please, one semester or more at a time, not looking for an AirBNB arrangement - a better choice for someone looking for a "host family" and not a group of roommate/strangers.
