Homestay in Vancouver, Canada

Hi there,

My name is Paige and I am looking to house a homestay student starting March 1st for one month or longer.

I am getting married in April and need help keeping my home until then. I currently have one homestay student and the second bedroom is becoming available.

I am wanting another female to take the room I have available. It comes with a closet and an extra clothing rack, a double bed, desk and chair. Lot's of natural lighting (a hug bay window).The photo's of the room are to give a general ideal, the bedding and some furnishings are my current roommates. Once she moves I will be replacing some items with things I have in storage. Plus new curtains and bedding to brighten up the space. Please note, it will be arranged differently - it is set up right now to my current roommate's liking) :)

I have a medium sized, full loving dog who loves attention.

My home comes equipped with laundry, a dishwasher, a full bath/shower, and a wood burning fire place that makes for a cozy winter.
In addition to your bedroom you will be provided a full cupbaord in the kitchen for your personal snacks and a cupboard in the bathroom for all your toiletries.

My house is close to the Canadaline skytrain station and a bus that goes directly into Downtown Vancouver.

I am a very quiet and clean homebody. I am very easy going and love to chill. I love to cook, read, and binge watch TV series.


Included in the rent:
- House consumables (such as toilet paper & paper towel, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, toothpaste/brush, herbs/spices, coffee, creamer, tea, oils & vinegar's, etc.)
- Wifi
- Utilities
- Use of washer/dryer
- 1 kitchen cupboard / 1 bathroom cupboard
- 1/3 fridge space (shared with 2 others)


House Rules:
- Having friends over is fine but on weekdays they need to be gone by 10pm and weekends by 12am.
- No sleepovers
- There are tenants in the basement so on weekdays we like to keep the noise to a minimum by 9pm and on weekends 11pm
- You need to keep your room clean and tidy - no leaving dishes in your bedroom for days (water glass is fine of course)
- Laundry days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Always keep the front yard gate shut (to keep the dog from getting loose)
- No starting a fire in fireplace unless I am home
- Absolutely NO smoking / NO drug use of any kind


We can arrange to pick you up/drop you off at the airport or skytrain station (whichever is more convenient for you) with advance notice.
Each month is $900, if you come in the middle of the month it will be half the months rent ($450) and then resume from the 1st to a full month. I can be flexible on rent and meals depending on your circumstances. If you are local, we can also arrange for you to come view the room.

18 minute transit ride to Langara College
40-50 minute transit ride to downtown Vancouver
52 minute transit ride to UBC
