Hello,

We are a fun family of four with two young children, and have hosted students from Vietnam, Korea and Japan! We enjoy gardening, walking, playing sports and socializing with friends (well, not during Covid, of course)

Our house is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with an elementary school and Continuing Education nearby. The bus stop is footsteps away from a 10 minute ride to Lougheed Town Shopping Centre #cityoflougheed and the skytrain, which joins neighbouring cities such as Vancouver, Coquitlam, New Westminster and Surrey. Vancouver downtown is 20 minutes on the train from Lougheed Mall. Choices Grocery Store and Pharmasave is a 10 minute walk away. The Royal Columbian Hospital is a 3 minute drive.

At our home, you will have access to your own bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen/dining in a NEWLY renovated basement, situated above ground level with large windows, opening to a quiet backyard. Living arrangement is mostly seperate with your own entrance. No parties, no smoking, no drugs.

As hosts, we prefer students who can independently shop for groceries and cook on their own. We have found from experience that students are more comfortable making their own meals, at their own leisure. Food for meals are not included in the monthly cost of $1100 month, but if you are looking for a friendly family to stay with, we are the homestay for you and are happy to help if you have any questions about our beautiful city!
