Furnished bedroom with den available in attractive Bloor West Village house in Toronto. (Female renter wanted only.) Bright room (double bed with large wardrobe and end table) overlooking garden plus den with roll top desk and chairs. Very private. Access to two shared bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and backyard. Looking for one quiet full time worker or student. Great room for single individual. We raised a large family in this house so we've got lots of room. One grown daughter lives with us. She's a student and a face painter who enjoys meeting new people. She also has one older indoor cat, so no more pets please. My husband and I are semi-retired, he from the university and me from the library. We enjoy our cottage, art, books, Blues music and good conversation. We still have our home offices, but we also like to travel. Our most recent trips were to Portugal, China and Peru. We especially enjoyed talking to our guides about their cultures. We are a 10 minute walk to Runnymede subway station, a 30 minute trip by public transit to George Brown, Ryerson, the University of Toronto and other downtown schools and a 10 minute walk to banks, the pharmacy, the library, grocery stores and trendy restaurants and pubs in Bloor West Village and the Junction. High Park and the Lakeshore are also close by with public access to skating rinks, swimming pools, biking and hiking trails. First and last month required.
