Hello students and everyone !!!
I like being a host for homestay student , it is a rewarding experience , as it provides an an opportunity to learn other culture and language . I am professional Registered Nurse , who has travelled to the Europe ,US and Asia , it is second nature for me to take care and support people. My place is close and walking distance to UFV ( University of Fraser Valley , Abbotsford ), Bus routes and amenities .My condo is on the Upper 4th floor ( Penthouse ). It is overlooking the Mount Sumas view and it is a beautiful, well maintained , safe and a quiet neighborhood, which makes it conducive for studying .
I am a big fan of open and clear communication like house rules ,routines and expectations . I believe in cultural exchange , being an immigrant myself ,sharing and showing interest is vital to the success of one stay . I am very supportive , feeling homesick or struggling with the language barrier is also something i can relate to homestay , having been a former student myself . I am a respectful person which means i respect your privacy , personal space but in the same token i am readily available if help is needed . I can provide guidance to practical matters like transportation ,local amenities etc . , but everything is now easy to access through google as our friend ( smiles ) . I provide safety and comfort and welcoming environment . I am a patient person , i totally get it that any new environment can be challenging , i can make your transition to settle as smooth and easy as possible .
