We have been hosting mostly female students for 30 years . We love to learn about life in other countries . We love to have young people in our home and to make their visit to Victoria friendly, comfortable and family-like. We are 10 minutes by bus from most ESL schools and downtown and 10 minutes by bus from Camosun College main campus and 15 minutes by bus fromUniversity of Victoria. Five minutes walking from supermarket, bank, Starbucks, Chinese and other restaurants, swimming pool, hospital. 20 minutes walk from the ocean ! We are a retired journalist/English/ history teacher who loves to talk and a practising family therapist who loves to dance. We welcome our students to enjoy our bright, roomy ,comfortable living and dining rooms and kitchen and to use the kitchen to cook their own snacks.We like to play cards, kayak , bicycle and walk in the nearby hills.Everyone must vacuum their room and do a household chore weekly and cleanup after dinner daily.
