PLEASE NOTE: The estimated travel times on HomestayBay are not correct. For instance, Sprott-Shaw school is a five-minute WALK from our house, not a 19-minute bus ride!

All rooms have keyless private entrance, large storage closets, large windows, 9-foot (2.8m) ceilings, hardwood floors, and in-floor heat (21ºC). The bathroom is large and tiled, with shower & deep bath. The living room includes large storage closet and gas fireplace. You and 2 other ESL roommates share a kitchen, bathroom, full-sized laundry, living room and large patio area.

Everything included:
free high-speed wireless internet, computer printer (with free paper and toner), electricity, heat (21ºC), full-size kitchen, 24-hr private laundry, keyless entry, chair, desk, bed, telephone, curtains, pillows, sheets & blankets, vacuum cleaner, pots/pans/dishes, microwave, toaster-oven, rice cookers, coffee maker, toaster, gas BBQ, basic medicines (cold & flu/aspirin), basic first-aid materials (disinfectant, band-aids), and cleaning supplies. A guest bed and patio furniture is also provided.

We are experienced “apartment-share” operators and have been renting to international students and travellers since 2006. We are as helpful and accessible as we can be, while allowing our guests maximum privacy. Our rooms are clean and well-maintained. Our location is central to buses on Quadra, Cook, Bay and Hillside — basically covering all of Victoria. Everything in the way of furniture, appliances and utilities is provided at no extra cost. We pick up and drop off and are available 24/7 to help, in case of trouble. Our contract is simple and contains little obligation for the guest, other than one-month’s notice.
