My name is Phil, and I am renting a room in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of the City of Vancouver.

This suite is a 3-bedroom apartment. One room is occupied by a 20 to 30-year-old female from Ukraine who has been in Canada for 2 years and works from home M-F during regular working hours. I occupy the other room, and am a 55 to 65-year-old male who works outside of home, has visited over 20 countries, and respects everyone regardless of their origin, beliefs, culture, and/ or leanings. I speak English, French, and Spanish.

I have been hosting for 8 years, providing a respectful and comfortable environment. My home is close to all the amenities you will need, including express buses to get to the SkyTrain stations that can take you anywhere you want to go in Metropolitan Vancouver. Within 5-10 minutes walking distance from home are major grocery stores, smaller international food stores, many amazing restaurants to fit any budget, thrift shops, etc.

The room charge is $850/ month. A damage deposit is usually provided in advance at 50% of one month's rent, or $425, which would be returned within 2 weeks of vacating the room.

Aside from food purchases and coin-operated laundry machines in the building ($1.25 for a wash and 30 minutes of dryer time - extremely cheap!), everything is included in the rent - unlimited WIFI, cookware/ dishware and cleaning products, towels, facecloths, sheets, pillows, etc. You will have everything you need in this comfortable and charming suite.
