Welcome to Our Friendly Canadian Home!

We are a warm and caring English-speaking Canadian family with a passion for hosting guests from around the world. Since 2015, we’ve enjoyed welcoming students for both short and long-term stays, and we love sharing our home with people from different cultures.

About Us:

Me: I work in a hospital and am always ready to lend a hand with English homework or any questions you might have.
My husband: An experienced aircraft mechanic.
Our adult child: A 31-year-old general manager who resides in our basement.

Our Home:

Location: Nestled in the scenic Queensborough area, our home is located on the picturesque river boardwalk. We’re a short walk from the water taxi that will take you to the vibrant New Westminster Quay.
Neighborhood: Enjoy a safe, quiet, and family-friendly environment. The bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away, offering an 8-minute ride to the 22nd SkyTrain Station and a 35-minute SkyTrain journey to downtown Vancouver.
Amenities: We’re close to Queensborough Landing shopping mall and a recreation center with a library and gym.
Accommodation:

Rooms: We offer bright, clean, and fully furnished private rooms. Each room features a desk, bed, dresser, ample storage, air conditioning or heating, and a hair dryer.

Home Features: Our house is equipped with high-speed wireless internet, and your stay includes all utilities and access to laundry facilities.

Meals & Activities:

Meals: Enjoy three delicious meals per day included in your homestay fee.
Activities: Join us for fun family activities such as barbecues, birthday celebrations, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and various outings. We love including our guests in these special moments!

Smoking Policy:

We maintain a non-smoking home for everyone’s comfort.
