Native English Speakers looking to share our home with students who want to experience the family environment of living with Americans.

We are a young multiracial family with two children 9 years old and 7 years old, we have 1 hermit crab as a pet and are looking to host up to two guests in our large single family home. The rent is $900-850 per month including the utilities (gas, electric, wifi internet, and water). The bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, desk, chair, dresser, and a closet for storage. Our family will work to help you improve your English conversational skills as well as invite you to attend fun family outings like hiking and beach trips. If you are looking for a family environment to help your transition to the states then look no further.

Our home is just a quick 7-minute walk to the Fairmont/Readville Commuter Line @ Talbot Ave Station which brings you to South Station in downtown Boston in 20 minutes. Bus stops are also located a short walk away going towards Red or Orange Subway lines. A monthly commuter rail pass is $$84.50 which will allow you unlimited commuter rail, subway, bus and even inner harbor ferry access for all your transportation needs around the city within Zone 1A. We are part of what is called the Franklin Field North neighborhood on a quiet one way street with mostly residential property located nearby. There are small convenience stores, fresh food & fruit markets, places of worship and restaurants all within our neighborhood. The bigger shops, restaurants, grocery stores and a post office are within a 15 minute walk or 5-10 min bus ride towards Codman Square or Grove Hall. Dorchester is a very diverse neighborhood in the city and has a large Caribbean population (especially people from Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago) so there are lots of yummy restaurants serving these types of food around as well as traditional American food.
