Hello - I am a semi-retired marketing professional with a beautiful 1600 sf home in Harvest Hills offering the two private bedrooms for international student or visitors. The larger room with queen bed is available on June 15th, 2025. The smaller room with Twin bed is available now. I have been hosting international guests since 2012 and enjoy hosting and mentoring people in my home. My home is located on a quiet private cul de sac in Harvest Hills with great access to transit with express services to downtown, the airport and the University.
I have a great upper level media room with fireplace, free WIFI, Netflix and large screen and surround sound TV. There are great services and shops in my area including: Vivo Rec Centre, Starbucks, McDonalds, grocery, library, hot yoga, banks, and T & T Asian Supermarket and Movie Theatre.
I am an avid hiker and gardener and love the arts. I enjoy sharing my hobbies and hosting students on various hiking trails. My home is one hour from Banff and two to Lake Louise and there are great walking and cycling paths in my neighborhoods that are connected to anywhere in the city and I have a bike for house guests to use. There is great shuttle service to Banff, and Lake Louise from the YYC airport just 10 minutes from my home with excellent transit service to airport. With the rising costs of food, we are offering no meals at this time. You can cook in my well appointed kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, waffle-maker, blender, indoor grille, and dishwasher.
