I have been a host since 2014. My home is convenient to many Boston Area Colleges, Universities & Language Schools, (Boston College, Boston International Academy, Pine Manor College, Boston University, Harvard Medical School, Northeastern University, Language Studies International-LSI Boston, Kings of Boston, Stanford House, Boston School of Modern Languages, Boston ESL School and more). I am also minutes away from many Boston hospitals - Beth Israel, Children’s, The Baptist, Brigham & women’s, Faulkner & only a short commute to Tufts Medical Center & BU Medical Center.****

ABOUT MY LOCATION: My home is located in the southwest corner of the city of Boston, in the neighborhood of West Roxbury. West Roxbury is bordered by Roslindale to the northeast and Hyde Park to the southeast. West Roxbury is often mistakenly confused with Roxbury, but the two are not connected. West Roxbury is separated from Roxbury by Jamaica Plain and Roslindale. West Roxbury's main commercial thoroughfare is Centre Street. West Roxbury is also home to several places of worship, including three Catholic parishes, churches of various Protestant denominations, and a Jewish synagogue. There is a small Shopping center, "Hancock Village", within walking distance from my home, that has various restaurants & shops. There are local Parks to enjoy, Hynes Field, Hancock Woods, Gethsemane Gardens & Millennium Park, one of Boston's newest parks, that is alongside the Charles River & offers wonderful Bird watching. All are within walking distance of my home.

ABOUT ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Easy access to public transportation, (Orange & Green Lines , Commuter Rail & Buses). The Needham Branch of the MBTA Commuter Rail network has three stations in West Roxbury Bellevue, (Borders Roslindale), Highland, (walking distance from my house) and West Roxbury. There are several MBTA bus lines that run through West Roxbury. MBTA Bus 51-Cleveland Circle, runs by the house, the others, 35, 36, 37 & 38, they are a short walk from the house. They all give you access to the Orange line, Forest Hills T station. The 51 also gives you access to the Green Line, Cleveland Circle Station “C” Line, and a short walk from there you can catch the "B" line. The bus stop is viewable from my home & is within a 1 minute walk. The travel time to either station is less than 30 minutes.

ABOUT ROOM AVAILABLE, AMENITIES & PREFERENCES: I can provide a comfortable room private or shared, there are two beds in the room. A shared bathroom. Wi-Fi internet. I prefer 21 years of age or older. Smoking is allowed outside only. I have a dog, she's very friendly, you would need to be comfortable with a dog in the house. Laundry facilities are available for your use, you would need to supply your own laundry detergent. Prices and meals can be negotiated.
