Hi my name is Michael, My wife and I have been operating a homestay for 12 years now. We have had over a hundred students stay with us over the years, we have had girls stay for as long as 5 years through university. We only accept female students ,it is more comfortable for the girls this way and they seem to prefer it this way. We run our homestay like its your family away from home , we always eat dinner together as a family. We have a big back yard and we are always barbecueing in the summer . I enjoy watching the students get better at English ,month by month the progress they make is very rewarding for me also because I always help the students with their English . Their are really no rules in the house ,if your hungry simply get something to eat day or night ,the fridge is always open. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while you stay with us. I still keep in touch with most of the students we have had on Skype ,we have developed some very special friendships . Our home is very quiet ,no children ,no pets, in a nice neighbourhood 1 minute from a very large park. Bus and sky train are very close to home. Our neighbourhood is very quiet and safe with lots of friendly neighbours. Over the years with all the students we have hosted we have never had a problem ,most of our girls have stayed with us the entire length of their visa. We always include you in all our family activities such as driving to the mountains and sight seeing and some even go shopping with us. My wife is a great cook and prepares so many different kinds of food, Canadian,Korean,Japanese and the students love to help and learn from her in the kitchen. Our only goal is to make you feel at home and comfortable and happy during your stay with us !!!! We are a family homestay and i want to help you succeed at your goals and help you with your English conversation !! Thank you. Michael
