Close to everything! CBD, colleges, transport, shops, parks etc. Non-smoking, non-drinking, quiet-living, fit, busy, active and community-minded hosts who volunteer at History Societies, community groups and in rural Victoria too, we've been hosting students, interstate workers and overseas visitors since 2012.
We believe it is important for guests to have somewhere safe, quiet and central to allow them to settle into work. travel or study.
Our home is very small and very old, furnished with vintage (not modern) things that we look after and treat with care, and because it is a very small house, we believe it is important to treat each occupant with consideration and respect.
We enjoy DIY, repurposing, eco-awareness/sustainability/recycling, gardening, wildlife-watching and conversations at the table.
We share regular house-cleaning tasks with everyone fairly and equally, expecting guests to contribute to those tasks. We aim to operate as a team, being unselfish, considerate and communicative. Cooking is normally done by each individual, for their own consumption, but occasionally we will cook-to-share or exchange recipes.
We provide written "House Rules" for guests.
