This newly renovated basement suite with lots of light is ideal for two independent students who want a nice play to stay, some family interaction and the freedom to prepare their own meals. It is also suitable for a student wanting to have the entire suite to themselves. The suite is in the lower level of this character home and provides lots of opportunity for privacy if that is what you want.
The adults in the house (mother and father) were born and raised in England and speak impeccable English. The two girls aged 16 and 13 are friendly and fun.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood with good public transit links to Douglas college, UBC, SFU, VCC and many other colleges. We are a ten-minute drive from beautiful downtown Vancouver.
We have hosted students before and they have given good feedback on their experience.
The most important thing to know is that this suite has a fully equipped kitchen so that the homestay student can prepare their own meals. You will have privacy, as well as the opportunity to get to know the family better if that is what you would like.
