Hello,

We have been hosting students from all over the world for the past 10 years. We love meeting people form different countries. We have travelled to most European countries as well as the US, Barbados, and all across Canada.

You will be staying on the 3rd floor of our house (in fact, you will have the whole floor to yourself). The room has 2 twin beds, a desk/chair, tv with cable, built-in dresser and closets, as well as a storage room. You have your own private bathroom but the shower is in the shared family bathroom on the 2nd floor. We also have a shower in the basement bathroom (finished) if you prefer.

We are a busy family of 4 with a 10 year old son (grade 5) who loves playing soccer and a 16 year old daughter (grade 11) who is busy with many activities. My husband and I both work full-time for the City of Toronto. We have a Chocolate Labrador who is will be 2 in May (he does not have access to the floor where you live).

We live close to many schools, some in walking distance such as Hansa. We are also a short 10 minute walk from Eglinton or Davisville subway stations so the trip to University of Toronto and Ryerson is only 30 minutes in total! We live in an amazing neighbourhood! It is quiet and safe, but close to restaurants, movie theatres and shopping!

Rules of the house: Laundry only after 7pm or anytime on weekends. Please don't invite guests over without speaking to host family first. Please take off your shoes when you come in the house. :)
