This North West Homestay is a clean, safe, friendly and secure environment for Guests.

Hello there, my husband and I have a cozy home in the NW of Calgary.

We have travelled to many countries over the course of 33 years of marriage and my husband spent a month in South Korea in 1987. We attend church at Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel and have a weekly bible study in our home. We have a beautiful back yard and a 10 year old cat “Shadow” who is very affectionate and a 15 year old Maltese/Yorkie called “Sashes” who is adorable. We LOVE cooking and trying different foods.

Summer: Sit on the front deck and enjoy the sunset.
Winter: Enjoy the warmth of a real wood fireplace on a cold winter day. Cook grilled cheese sandwiches and S’mores in the fire.

We have regular movie nights with homemade popcorn made with real butter and fun games nights.

Jonathan loves to smoke meat on our smoker for delicious dinners that you wont find anywhere else.

Year round nature park is only 2 minutes away.

Shared kitchen, dinning and living area.

**We do supply dinner at an extra cost.**

Sheets, pillow and towels will be supplied. Free internet. Personal Fridge, hot water kettle and toaster in your room.
* We supply good quality food with all of our meals. You will not be hungry.

A short walk to the bus for public transport. The C-train is also nearby.
Transit is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you to Crowchild train station (LRT) going downtown, universities and colleges ( UofC, SAIT etc ). Close to Supermarket, restaurants, Starbucks, walk in clinic, gym, YMCA and etc.

Canada Olympic Park (COP) is close by for skiing, snowboarding and other winter/summer fun. Easy transport to Banff and Lake Louise for outdoor fun including the hot springs. Camping, hiking and water sports.

Basic House Rules:

Rules: Absolutely no drugs, no smoking, no drinking and no guests allowed. We expect our guests to keep their room clean and respect the work hours of those you live with (for example: no loud facetime/skyping or music). I work from home so I appreciate minimal noise during the day.
No strong scents like room spray, scent plug-ins, heavy perfume, candles etc.

Shower hours are between 6am - 7pm

You will share the bathroom across the hall with one other Homestaybay guest and you will be responsible for keeping the bathroom tidy. Access to laundry room is included with no extra costs at a designated time and we truly appreciate tidiness and cleanliness. Laundry hours are between 9am - 4pm

The kitchen is available for cooking and you must clean up after yourself. The kitchen hours are 7am - 7pm
Due to the high cost of food we only provide dinner and no longer provide breakfast or lunch.
