Comfortable Home in Bonita

Welcome to our home! We are the Stanton’s, we’re a friendly family that loves to learn about people and cultures. We have been a host family for six years and we love it! We enjoy getting to know our guests and want them to feel welcome and at home! Our home is very comfortable relaxed family atmosphere. We are helpful in offering guidance as you adjust to a new city and home.

We have a very open house. My house is your house! Mike, my husband is a retired police officer and is a creative Silversmith! I ( Ninette) recently retired from the salon industry. I also had an Interior decorating business, I love doing color consultations & redesign. Our daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter live locally and visit often on weekends. Our son has twin girls they live here on the weekends, they are so much fun it can get very lively and a bit loud:) lots of giggles with our granddaughters!
Our son’s dog Uhtred is a beautiful Siberian husky he is gentle and friendly. We like to have friends over for dinner and bonfires on the weekends. Kiki our 16 year old cat is our furry family member, she’s sweet and keeps to herself. I love taking walks on the beach and various scenic locations around San Diego. We love watching movies, going to street fairs, listening and dancing to live music, mostly we love spending time with our family! We are very easy to talk to, if there is anything bothering you please feel free to talk with us. It is important that you feel safe and comfortable in our home, as well as my family to feel comfortable with our guests. We have remained friends with many of our guests!

We are a 5 minute drive to freeway access, if you have a car there is street parking available, our neighborhood is very quiet. There is a library, gym walking trails and restaurants, coffee shops very close to our home, as well as one of the local golf courses.
We love being a host family! We have hosted many students from Saudi Arabia, our guest lists includes Australia, Mexico, USA, China, Palestinian Territory and Kuwait! We would love to get to know you!

Rules of our home: Be kind and courteous, guests are required to clean your own room. A weekly vacuuming and bathroom cleaning is a must! Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen, laundry room, dining room etc. We will supply laundry soap, fabric softener, hand soap and toilet paper. We provide a light breakfast, (continental) such as English muffins, fruit, coffee and tea. There are cooking privileges, you must clean up promptly as this is a shared kitchen. No late night cooking. Guests are responsible for their own transportation, for purchasing and cooking their own food and purchasing their own toiletries. We provide food storage in a refrigerator that is shared and 2 shelves in our pantry. NO overnight guests, NO pets. Full monthly Payment of $1,300.00 is due upon move in day, payment is due every month from move in day. Prompt payment is required. Thank you!
