Hello To All International Students,

My name is Zlata and I've been running a homestay with my family in Toronto, Canada for years.

I have two grown sons who graduated from Marketing and International Business at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Currently the younger son is in Portugal on postgraduate studies.

My husband and I have a photo and video business.

We enjoy meeting new people, learning new things and cultures.

We've had students from all over the world, Europe, Asia, South America...

With a lot of students we have gained new friendships which last to this day.

That's one of the reasons why we provide this service, because it makes us happy and fulfilled.

I've visited France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, and most of the countries in Southeastern Europe where my family is from originally.

As a family, we enjoy travelling, learning new languages, photography, film making, meeting new people and making new friends all over the world.

We also enjoy fishing, camping, spending time outdoors in nature, and sightseeing.

Our house is located at a very convenient location, just steps away from bus stops, and six minutes from the closest subway station by bus.

Most of the schools that our students attend are 25-30 minutes away from our home using the TTC (Toronto's public transportation system).

Eglinton Square Shopping Centre, one of the oldest in Toronto, which has a library, is walking distance from our home.

There is also a movie theater that is walking distance from our house.

Our house rules are fairly simple and common sense:

- No drugs, alcohol, and smoking allowed

Recently we renovated the student rooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen. The rooms are freshly painted, tidy, and clean.

Some other amenities we have are:

- Free WIFI Internet
- Laundry every Sunday
- Student mini-fridge
- and much more...

We are very friendly and have a very warm, inviting environment in our home for students to enjoy during their stay in Toronto.
