Hello and Welcome to Canada,
My name is Lori, and I was born and raised here in Canada. Growing up, my family often hosted international students, and it was always such a wonderful experience. I loved meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about their cultures. Many of the students we hosted are still in touch with me today, thanks to Facebook.
Now that I’m 30 years old and have a family of my own, I would love for my children to experience the same joy and meaningful connections that I did. Hosting students has always warmed my heart—especially seeing them improve their English and become more confident over time. My husband and I are always happy to help however we can.
Our goal is simple: to make you feel at home.
We are a Filipino family. I live with my husband, our 3-year-old son, our newborn baby girl, and our very friendly, cuddly cat. We are a close-knit, family-oriented household that enjoys spending time together and with relatives. On weekends, we love going out as a family—swimming, dining out, exploring new places, or enjoying movie nights. We also occasionally host gatherings where we cook lots of food, play games, and enjoy karaoke—feel free to join in the fun!
We live in a quiet, family-friendly townhouse complex. Our home has 3 floors, 4 bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub).

Things to Note:
• Each room has a double bed
• student will have their own fridge .
• Full access to the kitchen (stove, oven, microwave). If you’d like us to cook meals, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
• Unlimited Wi-Fi.
• Laundry is available once a week (detergent included). You may choose any day Monday–Friday.
• Minimum stay: 2 months. Maximum stay: for however long you want
• Bus stops are a 10-minute walk from the house, with easy access to SkyTrain.
• Guildford Town Centre, Landmark Cinemas, recreation centers, grocery stores, and the library are all within a 5–10 minute walk.
