Aloha! 'O Lono-Sensei ko'u inoa. My name is Lono and I'm glad to open my home to visiting English students, Hula students, Lomilomi students, Surf students, and Hawaiian culture students. I am a former English teacher who lived in Japan and got the nickname Lono-Sensei. I now operate a small tour business sharing the best sights, foods, culture, and nature O'ahu has. I have a teenage son in high-school, a fun-loving 3 year old dog, and a keen passion for delicious healthy food! You will truly have a local lifestyle experience if you choose this homestay. The convenient location is 10 minutes walk from Kahala mall, 15 minutes walk to Kahala Beach, convenient bus lines to Waikiki, Ala Moana, and downtown. I have been a host10 years ago and it is nice to return and host international visitors again. Please be aware preference is given to students on a travel/student visa (You need to have travel/student insurance to stay here). This is not a long-term accommodation and the maximum stay is 3 months (90 days). This is definitely NOT a party house and guests are expected to respect property and house rules.
