We are a family of four, we started hosting this year and we believe that hosting facilitates a reciprocal opportunity for our children to interact with other people and learn about other cultures while our guests feel at home while away from home and also learning about Canadian way of life. ESL students get to practice their English in our home as our children are very friendly and love to chat/play when given the opportunity.
Our home is pet and smoke free, our children are both girls- thus, we prefer to host female students. We enjoy the outdoors during summer and we like to bake and cook during the colder months!
Our home is right across a small park and have access to bus routes going to shopping centres and downtown. YMCA is located few blocks away, so are library, KFC, McDonalds, coffee shops, other restaurants, and grocery shops.
We are able to provide meals upon request and with a fee. Definitely send us a message and we will be happy to discuss house rules, and answer your questions.
