Hi my name is May and I have done homestay before. We immigrated to Canada over 30 years ago and we want to do homestay because we also want to provide a welcoming experience to students from other countries. We have 3 nice and clean rooms available for students.

We are 5-10 minute walk away to parks, the community Centre (with a gym), supermarket and restaurants. The #25 Bus is a 2-3 minute walk away. We are a 10 minute bus ride to the Nanaimo Skytrain station and a 15 minute walk to the Rupert Skytrain station. from these to station to Downtown Vancouver, just take 12 to 15 minutes. Our home is close to BCIT Burnaby Campus and LaSalle College. It's a 1 hour direct bus ride to UBC and a 45 minute to SFU. Our neighborhood is very quiet and safe with lots of friendly neighbors.

I speak English and mainly Cantonese and Mandarin. We cook a variety of dishes but mainly consisting of Chinese food. We're happy to cook, learn and practice English with you.

Room per month with meals: $1400
Room per month without meals: $900
