カナダ, Abbotsfordでホームステイ
I am interested in running a homestay as I have taught a number of homestay students and have been saddened by what the homestay families have offered, in terms of support. I have not yet hosted anyone, but we have an Italian youth coming for the month of July. I myself have lived and worked in: Canada, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Italy, and Kazakhstan. In addition, I have travelled to, and or worked short-term in over 42 countries! Our family (myself, 10 yo son, 12 yo daughter and Italian husband) enjoys outdoor sports: hiking, biking. I also enjoy the gym. My son does rugby and swimming, my daughter does ballet/acting and Youth. My typical day is spent getting my children to their schools, volunteering at the school my son goes to (as crossing guard), going to the gym, preparing meals for the family, tutoring a few early afternoons, and then working from 3.40-7.50 with Korean foreign students at the academy I work for. I expect everyone to put their dishes in the dishwasher, and either together, or in turn, to put dishes away. Laundry, again, is a communal duty. Use of media is okay, but watched: homework needs to be done.
