Female Only Homestay House - near King Edward Station (Canada Line)

I have been a homestay mother for over 20 years. I live in a heritage house and enjoy meeting people from various countries. I am also a part-time high school teacher and sometimes help my students with their homework. I love animals; I am very involved in animal rights and welfare and environmental issues. I have a very friendly/lazy medium-sized dog and two indoor cats. My adult children live on their own and have successful careers.
The location I live in is very safe and convenient. I live in Central Vancouver, West of Main street. My house is a 10 minute walk to the King Edward Canada Line, to Main Street, to Hillcrest community center and a 15 minute walk to Queen Elizabeth Park. It is also a 5 minute walk to King Edward #25 Bus (where you go to UBC or to Nanaimo Skytrain Station). I am within 10 minutes walking to the shops for groceries, restaurants and coffee shops.

I provide a furnished room with locking doors, unlimited internet access, laundry (once a week), a fridge, cooking facilities and utensils, towels and bed sheets. There are 3 full bathrooms, shower, sink and toilet (toilet paper is provided).
This is a very friendly home, however, it is a FEMALE-ONLY home. No guests are allowed in the house, unless I give you permission.
It is required that cleanliness, honesty and respect towards one another are present at all times in my home. My goal is to maintain a friendly, peaceful home.

This is rented on a month to month basis, therefore one month notice is required if you choose to leave. I do not take short term rentals, minimum requirement to stay is 3 months. I prefer students.
