We are a family of 3 (5 if you include the cats) looking to host short term stay students from around the world! We have been residents of this address for 17 years. My dad is a retired engineer, mom is a nurse at Vancouver general hospital, and I'm an inspector for a major telecommunications company.

We are currently working with a homestay agency that prohibits us to host students from the opposite gender so we are only accepting female students at this moment.

Our house is located on the intersection of Clark dr. and 17th Ave E, Vancouver - near Sunnyside park!

Your stay will include:
3 meals
Unlimited High Speed Internet
Access to laundry in the house
Large 2 sink washroom only shared with 1 other student - you get your own sink/drawers.
Spacious house with backyard to study or hang out if you don't want to stay in your room all day
You're welcome to use any other house amenity such as the elliptical during appropriate hours
2 friendly in door cats to play with if you're stressed :)

Rules:
Respect other students/residents
No smoking
Guests are welcome but they can NOT stay overnight and you have to remind us before hand. Safety is our number 1 priority.
Can not be picky with food (no vegans/vegetarians/hipsters who don't eat gluten etc.., sorry)
Minimum 4 weeks notice required before moving out
Minimum 6 weeks notice will be given if we need to vacate the room

(11x11ft) - brightly lit rooms with closets on the top floor of the house are currently available.

Please email me your name, country of origin, your length of stay (months), age range (if guardianship will be required), and reason for staying in Canada (student/work/volunteer).
