Welcome! Our home consists of a working mom and a high school-aged son. I can tell you that the rooms here are quite spacious. We provide a double-sized bed along with cozy furniture, a blanket with a pillow, a desk, a closet, a drawer, a shelf, toilet paper, toothpaste, hand soap, detergent, wireless Wi-Fi and share the kitchen stuff. A small refrige is in the room. Air conditioning is available. **Free rice! **Hydro is extra
Additionally, our apartment boasts excellent accessibility, being within a 5-minute walking distance from the bus terminal, Walmart and Planet Fitness Gym within 10 minutes of a shopping center, Winners, McDonald’s, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, Sobey's, Shoppers, and numerous restaurants.
For students, it’s especially convenient, with Dalhousie University reachable within 15 minutes, and Saint Mary’s University and Mount Saint Vincent University within 25 minutes by taking the bus. We have a free parking lot on the street as well.
We are a considerate and friendly family. We are Christians, so we attend church on weekends. I also usually enjoy going to farmers’ markets and hiking trails, and am very socially active. At the same time, we enjoy meeting people from diverse cultures and sharing our experiences. I keep managing the house clean, and we will share the house cleaning and garbage.
We do not welcome the use of alcohol, smoking, or drugs (including cannabis), and partying is not allowed.
However, as both my son and I are busy, so you can probably enjoy indoor activities on your own until the evening. (though our lovely cat may keep you company).
Airport pickup and drop-off can be arranged upon request.
