Hello and welcome to my homestay! I love meeting new people from all over the world. I am happy to open up my home and look forward to helping international students (or not?) to acquainted with SF Bay Area/American culture while learning a few things about their countries.
House:
The house is (Female Only) a 3BR + 2.5 BA + 2 Car Garage View Home renovated recently. 1st floor has 2 BR & a full bath (you share with another lady who rent 2nd BR). 3rd floor is Kitchen, LR, & Porch view to hills and bay, which we share.
The Room:
is located on the 1st Floor ( has 2BR + 1BA to share) and has a private porch connecting to this BR (see pic). Size 9 x 11 with extra deep closet. Unfurnished, but may be furnished (ask). The rent is $1395/mo + 1/3 Utility. Garage rent is $95 for a small car, no SUV. Garage is attached & enclosed parking side by side, not tandem.
Who we are:
You will be sharing the house with 2 female housemates, me, who works at a tech company in Peninsula. I am an easy going person who enjoy meditation & yoga and love performing arts and outdoors. Another lady is a young nurse who has entrepreneurial spirit and traveled to Amazon Jungle (Summer 2019). Me too, have traveled to Europe both Eastern and Western (all before 2014), Bali, trekked in Nepal to 5100+meters (*all trips are before early Summer 2019)
You are:
a mature female (at least 18+yrs, sorry no boys) who has a stable job, is reliable, VERY clean, friendly and respectful for others and the house (incl noise level).
House rules:
Keep your room and bathroom clean. Clean up after use of any shared spaces. No shoes, no smoke, & no crazy party in the house. Sorry no pets, and no business conducted from the house.
Transportation:
• 1 block to Muni#44- O'Shaughnessy (to Glen Park BART)
• 1 block to Muni#54- Felton (to Daly City BART)
• a couple of blocks down (means steep uphill on the way back) the hill to TN Light rails on 3rd St.(to SF Dogpatch/Downtown/FiDi)
• Easy access to Hwy 101, 10min to SFO, 30 min to mid-Peninsula, 10min to SF downtown/Mission/Dogpatch, close to City College of SF
• Street parking (no City Permit required). There are guest parking on private street around the house that is off public street for a very limited time.
Neighborhood amenities: Craftsman and Wolves cafe, All Good Pizza, Tato (a chic Mex food), and Fox & Lion Bread are just down the hill.
