We have been hosting for over 15 years! Hosting for us is like traveling without leaving our home. It is important for us to learn about different cultures. We like have dinner together whenever possible, a tradition since our children were small. We have hosted ESL students as well as High School students so we are open to hosting young people. We have travelled extensive for months at a time when we are not hosting. It has taken us to over 15 countries and more to go!
We love the outdoors, museums, reading and good food. We cook healthy food using mainly organic products. In the summer we love cookouts, attending open air concerts and movies, neighborhood festivals. In general we like to take advantage of the great cultural life Chicago offers.
We are a friendly family who loves to meet new people and learn from each other. We are open and friendly!
Please note that we have a small dog.
