NEW VACANCY! Upper floor room for June 6th! Lots of natural light, semi-private bathroom (shared with 1 female homestay).

Rent: $1250-$1500 (depending on meal option selected, contact Host for more info)

All our homestay rooms include:

- new bedrooms with new, modern and high end furniture
- double, queen or king sized bed with fresh linens
- desk, lamp
- bedside table
- large closets w/organizers
- clothes dressers
- FREE Wifi, cable
- private bathroom (upper level rooms)
- new bathrooms w/modern fixtures and finishes
- full access to new HE laundry machines (machines on each level, all detergent provided)
- bathroom tissue, cleaning products, cleaning service all provided
- meals (up to 3 per day, 5 days per week, rate varies accordingly)
- very clean residence, disinfected, wiped down, dusted, vacuumed every day

ABOUT HOME & HOST
We are a young couple, currently with no children, just our small dog Pearl - a loving, friendly and quiet pup! We live in our personally designed and newly renovated 5 bedroom home and have been hosting homestays for the past 6 years. We enjoy the company, cultures, and experience of homestays, and learning about the unique story and background behind each individual.

HOUSE RULES
We do not have "rules" or restrictions in our home. We believe everyone can be given the privilege of living without such, as long as it is not taken advantage of, and boundaries are not pushed. Only then, would we enforce rules and so far we have not had to do so as our homestays for the past 6 years have been very respectful and courteous. We have preferences and expectations, and we are environmentally conscious of our daily lifestyle - we ask that you be conscious just the same. We simply expect homestays to keep their space clean, and respect the house and your fellow housemates. We believe this makes for a more enjoyable, and comfortable environment.

NEIGHBORHOOD & AMENITIES
We live on Capital Hill in North Burnaby - one of the lower mainland's most sought after neighborhoods. It is very safe, green, active, healthy, and quiet, with amazing views of the City, mountains, ocean, and beyond. There are many amenities nearby like Confederation Park & Eileen Daily Pool (5 min walk) that has a new state of the art library, indoor pool & leisure/fitness centre, track, fields, tennis courts, ping pong, picnic, indoor/outdoor sport arena, BBQ & picnic areas and more (see in our photo gallery).

TRANSIT & NEARBY AMENITIES TO ENJOY
We are centrally located, just 2 short blocks (about a 2 min walk) from Hastings St bus stop where you catch the R5 bus to downtown Vancouver in 35 minutes, or up to Simon Fraser University in 10 minutes!

- Confederation Park and Community Centre, Library & Eileen Daily Pool (5 minute walk)
- The Amazing Brentwood Mall & Skytrain Station, Restaurants, Nightlife, Movie Theatre & shops (5 min drive, 10 min bus ride)
- Hythe View Point - 1 minute walk (up the street) - a famous spot for locals and tourists to watch sunsets and view the city skyline, ocean and mountains.
- Korea Town (Lougheed) - 15 min on transit!
