WELCOME:

Looking for an awesome place to live while studying in Vancouver? You've come to the right place. We'd love to host you in our beautiful brand new home.

We're a fun, easy going, friendly family of four (My husband, our 19 year old daughter, 15 year old son and myself). Three out of four of us were born in Vancouver and we only speak English at home. We'd love to interact with you and learn about your culture. We have been hosting since June 2014 and have met so many wonderful people, love learning about their cultures and teaching them about Canadian culture.

We can host up to 3 **NON SMOKING** FEMALE** students (18 years old or older). **sorry we do not host males**

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:

My husband is a great cook! We offer quality meals....not cheap or frozen microwave meals, and/or we don't feed you separate food like some homestay families!
We eat dinner together and take time to interact and speak with our students. We treat you like family.

Our home is smoke and pet free. Our rooms are on the ground level with a large window and are furnished with a twin/single bed, night table, desk and closet for clothes. We offer free wifi access and laundry once a week. Your monthly fee includes everything, there are no surprises.

Convenient location and easy transit. It's a 5 minute walk to Sperling skytrain station or 1 minute walk to the bus that takes you to skytrain or SFU/FIC.

By Transit: 25 min to downtown, 17 min to Simon Fraser University (SFU) or Fraser International College (FIC), 20 min to British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), & 28 min to Douglas College (New Westminster Campus).

There are several malls accessible along the Skytrain/bus Route (Brentwood, Lougheed, Metrotown, Coquitlam Centre & Pacific Centre).

FEES: fee includes breakfast & dinner with lunch on the weekends.

* non-full months will be charged $45/day or full month rent, whichever is lesser
* Bedroom 3 is larger, therefore fee is slightly higher.
* a private washroom may be available for an extra cost (otherwise 2 washrooms would be shared amongst 3 students)
* there are no additional fees: wifi, laundry, utilities are all included.
* We typically do longer term stays of 6 months or more. We may consider doing short term stays depending on availability, but a cleaning fee may apply. Please inquire.
