Available JUNE 1st 2025 I do prefer a long-term student 6 - 12 months but negotiable.
Fast, free internet access. I have enjoyed hosting International Students since 2000 in my lovely 2 bedroom home across from UVic, a 10 minute bus ride to Camosun College and 20 minutes to downtown. As I have lived/visited 45 countries I know what it feels like to arrive in an unfamiliar country and I will help you get settled.
Laundry facilities, laundry detergent, towels, soap, bed linens (pillows/sheets/duvet) and fast wifi are all included in this price. There are no hidden fees. Your bedroom has sliding doors onto the deck making a bright, warm environment with a bed, closet, dresser, desk, chair, lamp, ceiling light, linens etc. My home is also perfume-free.
I work from home as a metal smith who makes and markets jewellery. I work out at the gym downstairs, spend time with friends and other activities. I am looking for a student who is capable of shopping for their own food, cooking their own meals, is friendly and respectful and basically can look after themselves. I am available to help and teach.
My house rules are respect each other, no smoking, and clean up after yourself. I am concerned about the environment and recommend short showers, use of heaters in your room, timing for laundry. All cooking should be finished by 9pm.
