Want to experience a REAL Homestay? I have lived in Japan, France, Indonesia, and Mexico - so I know both good and bad homestay experiences. We are a young, fun, low-key couple who love to travel and learn about other cultures. We enjoy cultural exchange and are excited to open our home to a new student.
We have lots of experience hosting students and we really enjoy introducing our students to American culture! :) Personally, I have done homestays in Japan, France, Mexico, Honduras, and Indonesia, so I know how important it is to live with a good family. The students we host become a part of our family and are included in family activities (e.g., meals, birthday parties, holidays, picnics, etc.).
Our home is centrally located downtown, one block from the trolley and several bus lines. We are walking distance to Seaport Village, Little Italy, Balboa Park, and everything that downtown San Diego has to offer. You cannot beat this location! Our complex also has an onsite gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, and party room with billiards table.
We have 2 rooms. Rent is $800 per student and both rooms are shared by 2 students. Rent includes wireless internet, utilities, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
