Hello, everyone, and welcome! We are so glad to have you here. We are a family of three and a small dog. Our daughter is majoring in Environmental Science at the University of British Columbia.
We’ve been hosting guests in my home for the past five years, and it's something we truly love. For us, running a homestay isn't just about providing a place to stay; it's about sharing cultures and meeting incredible people from diverse backgrounds. We've been fortunate enough to travel extensively ourselves, having explored countries such as China, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia, among others. These experiences have shown us the incredible value of hospitality and cultural exchange, and that's exactly what we aim to offer you here.
When we’re not hosting, you'll often find us pursuing our passions. We are avid hikers and photographers, always looking for the next beautiful landscape to capture. We also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, so you might even catch the scent of something delicious wafting from the kitchen!
To ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable stay, I do have a few house rules:
* Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure everyone gets a good night's
* Please help us conserve energy by turning off lights and the fan when you leave a room.
* We kindly ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house.
* Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
* Laundry once a week.
* Please clean up after yourself in common areas, especially the kitchen.
If you have any questions at all, or if there's anything I can do to make your stay more pleasant, please don't hesitate to ask. Make yourselves at home!
