Homestay in 加拿大 － Mississauga
Hi! This is my first time to host students. My friends were a homestay hosts for quite sometime now and they encouraged me to do the same as I have two spare rooms that is not used. The idea of hosting and the encouragement of friends made me decide that I would like to try to do hosting students.
Only the three of us, my husband and my daughter lives in this house. We are a down to earth, laid back family. We mostly stay at home and sometimes go out but not often. We loved watching tv. Not much of a hobby but we mostly cook. We do not eat out unless it is for special occasion. We do not belong to any organizations. So far, within my family, we do not have much of a house rules. The only thing I request from them is to let me know where they are going so I know where they are. It gives me peace of mind knowing where they are. We have been visiting countries like HK, Dubai, Ireland and the Philippines. We are hoping we can be a host to a wonderful students.
My house is in downtown Mississauga. I am 15 minutes by bus to University of Toronto Mississauga, 5 minutes bus ride to Sheridan College and Trios College. Close to all amenities. Close to Square one mall, restaurants and groceries. The house is in a quiet environment and a lot of college and university students too who is renting around.
