Homestay in 美国 － North Las Vegas

My name is Gretta Jones. I am married, so therefore my husband Lloyd lives in the house. I also have a daughter who is 36 years old and has 3 boys. Two of them are teenagers and the youngest is 9 years old. He is smart as a whip. I work and so does my husband. The teenagers go to high school and the youngest one goes to elementary school which is walking distance from our house. We live a very quiet life. We seldom have visitors at the house. We do have cameras around the house for protection since we have our grandchildren living with us. It's only for protection. We live in a fairly big home. Each grandchild has their own bedroom. We are all upstairs. The room that is available for you is the room that is downstairs next to a bathroom which we use sometimes if we are downstairs, but it is your bathroom. It does have a full shower as well. You are welcome to use the entire downstairs which has a living room, family room and the kitchen. It is an open space area. You can also utilize the backyard. We have a turf area for golfing and we have the golf clubs as well for your use. This will be my first time as a Homestay. So we will be new to this.

Lloyd and I like to travel. We go to Canada a lot which is where I am from and where I met him. I am originally from the Fiji Islands but I migrated to Vancouver, British Columbia when I was ten years old. Lloyd is from Ohio. We have been to Mexico several times, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Aruba. We've travelled around the United States as well. We have 2 other children that do not live at home.

I am a board member for the HOA in the neighborhood and I also belong to the neighborhood watch. We don't have too many rules in the house but we do want our doors always locked including the screen door in the front. Our windows are always locked. We do take our shoes off in the house though. Its a custom of mine! But if you forget, it's no big deal to me.
