Being a Host Family to us means welcoming someone into our life and into our home. We enjoy and love being a Host Family. We have been hosting International students from all over the world for 7 years. Some of the countries we’ve hosted are Brazil, Italy, Japan, Korea, France, Thailand, and many more. Although in the beginning, we start out as strangers to each other… in the end, our students become a part of our extended family. With the help of social media, we remain closely connected with our previous students, which some of our students have come back to visit us and we have visited them in their country as well.
Life in its self is a journey of experiences for all to cherish, learn and live time. It is meant to be travelled and enjoyed. As your host family, we would like to share with our students our diverse American culture, our many international exotic foods, life experiences, and overall education of what life has to offer for them. We offer a safe and clean “HOME away from HOME”. We live an active, adventurous, fun, and busy lifestyle. I enjoy exercising, running marathons, camping, ziplining, and hiking. My husband enjoys fixing cars and watching sports. We both enjoy dining out and loves to travel within the U.S. and most especially to other countries.
Some of the many activities we like to do with our students are hiking, shopping, dancing, going to concerts, going to sports games, wine tasting and sightseeing.
