Hello travelers!
My name is LIsa and I have been running Home Stays for the past 15 years with many, many great reviews! I have lived in my wonderful home for over 40 years.
My house is located in a lovely quiet area in East York, Toronto, just across the street from TAYLOR CREEK PARK about a 10 minute walk to the Main Subway Station. (35 minutes to downtown Toronto and about 15 minutes by bus to the BEACH (LAKE ONTARIO)! I love the area so much that after my 4 children grew up and moved out, I decided to share my house with students instead and I have really enjoyed it!
For many years I worked in a health and natural food Co-Op and I am also an visual artist as well as a big music lover with a large record collection.
Years ago, I was a traveler too, and went all through the United States, the Caribbean, South America and I studied Spanish in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
My rules are fairly basic; mostly they involve consideration for others, respect for privacy and personal independence.
In short, my home is an excellent choice for any student.
