I am a retired teacher with over 10 years of experience hosting students from countries such as China, India, SriLanka, the UK, and Korea. I have also travelled extensively, visiting a new country each year.
Our home is ideal for serious students. It is located in a safe neighbourhood, surrounded by lush green trees, and is very close to public transportation.
Originally from India, I have lived in Australia for over 35 years. My three daughters have grown up and moved out. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV, playing Scrabble, and participating in voluntary work.
We are a vegetarian family and are currently looking for a female student who is focused on her studies and would like to live in a spacious, clean, and modern house. We seek someone responsible, tidy, and who will treat the house and its members with care and respect.
Your room is spacious and well-lit with natural light. It is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a desk equipped with a lamp, and a large wardrobe for storing your belongings. The floor is carpeted for added comfort. However, please note that if we have more students, you may need to share the bathroom, toilet, lounge, and sitting area with others.
We have had a lot of success hosting students and recently said goodbye to our last La Trobe University student, who stayed with us for three years. We are here to help make your stay enjoyable, so please let us know if you need anything.
Our house rules are simple: be respectful, keep things clean, and pay rent on time. We welcome conversations with parents.
