Hi there,
My name is Arlyn and we host international students. We're hosting students since 2017 and so far I hosted students from different countries such as India, Philippines , China, Korea, Vietnam and Kuwait. My experience as a host gives a lot of fun in our family. We learned different cultures, different ways of cooking, traditions and so much more. Having more people at home is what we like as we shared so much fun and they bring us joy. My family consists of 3 boys (23, 19, 16) and my husband, my 2 older sons are living on their own outside of our care. All of us love music so much. We played guitar and do Karaoke on our free time. We have a a big space in our backyard for outdoor dinner BBQ and and hot tub to soak in during those relaxing days and of course our students are allowed to use it too. We don't have pets at home due to allergy.
The house is located at the front of the Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre. To be exact, we are in between Carling Avenue and Transitway. The bus stations 154 and 155 are right at our door step while the 2 major stations Lincoln Fields and Queensway station are just 10 minutes away.
Our neighborhood is very quite and near Britania Beach, Bayshore Shopping Center, Cineplex, Algonquin College, Carlingwood Mall, and Parkway, MacDonalds, Shoppers, Metro, TD Bank, Farmboy, Thai Express, Popeyes.
Hosting for us is a great experience to meet new people with different culture and background. We are excited to show you how beautiful Canada is and how warm and respectful they are.
